Medela makes a superb line of breast pumps and breastfeeding accessories and I could not resist trying out the Medela Comfort nursing bra.

It was more than I expected though I had some trouble deciding on the sizing because it comes in S M L and XL. However, when it arrived I was pleased with the look and feel and fit of  the Medela nursing bra. The online photos don’t detail the fact that both of the cups drop down either so it was an added bonus.

I don’t use the Medela Comfort nursing bra for going dress up occasions but it is the perfect sleeper bra for me or just casual around the house. There are no back snaps.  It is the kind of nursing bra you wiggle into and I do have my doubts as to whether it would provide enough support to exercise in (it is not advertised as a sports nursing bra). However for casual use it is great.

It comes in three colors, black, white, or tan and I would buy another color in an instant just because it is so comfortable.

The flap closures are easy to manipulate and are actually one handed and easy to open and close for feeding baby. That’s a big plus in the middle of the night when I am only half awake and my baby is hungry and impatient.

The one thing that I noticed and I should mention is that the way the Medela Comfort bra is designed it must fit right to begin with. Mine was perfect and I had no trouble but others might. It’s because there are no hooks to adjust and no back closure to adjust, and if the fit is not correct right off, then even the stretchy fabric can’t forgive. Otherwise the Medela Comfort nursing bra has held up well over months of washing, it provides light to medium support and plenty of comfort with a soft sexy look I am very happy with.
